About this place
For an evening of drinks and sampling a little of this and that, a platter of small dishes is a natural place to start. 呑み屋もす’ menu features house-made obanzai—small home-style dishes—and drinking snacks, available in platters of three or five. The selection changes daily, and if a particular dish on the platter appeals, it can also be ordered on its own.
There is a broad choice of drinks to match the food: Japanese sake, including seasonal local brews, more than 10 types of awamori, and named labels such as Hōnami. Diners can also ask for a sake chosen to suit their preferences. The menu lists selected Aqua Panna as water for sake tastings, in place of brewing water. Heartland on draft, craft beer, fruit liqueurs and sours round out the options, making it easy to choose a first drink or settle in for a longer evening.
The relaxed interior has counter seating, with room to settle in whether dining alone or with company. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 6 pm until 2 am the following day, making it an option for a late-night drink.
